Put 'Man by a tree' and 'The Bethlehem Fiasco' introductions onto YouWriteOn.com to see what that website thinks of them.
On authonomy.com, you have to beg to get people to read your stuff, and there's no guarantee that they read more than 1 sentence. And even after begging they still don't read it.
On YouWriteOn.com, they give reviewers a multiple choice quiz you set. You can cheat at these, but it can be tricky, so it's easier to read all 5000+ words. But you still have to wait for someone to read it...
